I've thought long and hard on this one. I could have come out right after I saw it and reviewed it in a fit of pissed off fan rage. I didn't. Doesn't mean the rage didn't die down. I just kept myself in control. But I wanted to think of something to say that hasn't been said already in terms of The Tribe reviews. Alas, no words came to mind. For a writer, that's a shocker.
But then I took a picture and it said more than my mouth ever could. It says everything I feel about that half-assed-remake-passed-off-as-a-sequel and then some. It's poignant, precise and adept. I wish I could have said it better myself but I couldn't. I am shamed because of that.
What follows is my official, pictorial review of Lost Boys: The Tribe. This was taken at Twin Lakes beach in Santa Cruz, California. The spirit of the original Lost Boys was with me and coaxing me on. I know they approved. I hope you will too.
